So we all say there's a 'special place in hell' waiting for some politicians. But what exactly do you think that special place looks like.
I will say it depends on timing of the death.
So for example, if Trump dropped tonight, I'd say his hell would be to sit in a comfortable room with lots of diet coke, hamburgers and cozy chairs.
There would be several big screen TVs tuned to FOX. They would all broadcast things like "Hillary Clinton takes White House in a landslide!" "In a surprise move, President Clinton threw her hat into the ring at the 11th hour after Joe 'Sleepy' Biden announced he was really too old to serve again. Clinton and her VP (Nancy Pelosi) easily beat Trump, taking all states but Florida and Texas. With a super majority in Congress and the Senate, they should have no problem enacting their agenda. Let's cut to to the former president's concession speech...." Followed by Trump saying that he hoped the two women would consider a pardon or at least a sentence reduction for his federal convictions.
If McConnell goes, he'll have the added indignity of watching Clarence Thomas be impeached, and Alito stepping down. Both replaced by more liberal justices with overwhelming bi-partisan support. Republican leaders will state that the time of 'McConnell style obstruction and selfishness are in the past. We want to forge ahead and do what's best for our nation'.
Thomas of course, will be in poverty, and living on donations, welfare and food stamps. He will hear constant complaints about 'Lazy Blacks' who just want to 'live off the system'. And those same people will say that it's not like he couldn't easily better himself if he wanted to.
Alito will watch as he sits from the bench and hears full access to all reproductive care, including abortion be passed as a constitutional amendment. And clinics opening again in deep red states.
