So the Speaker has "endorsed" the impeachment inquiry of President Biden despite the likelihood that the party of cunning stunts not having the votes to proceed. I sure hope that everything is written legibly so that the history books will one day serve as a reminder to all that pervert their positions for personal gain, that the political games they played were soundly rejected and the people that supported them were launched into obscurity. Not one single piece of evidence has been produced that Biden has committed an impeachable offense, not one. So what are the charges?
Also just to note that the GOP has gone at least a decade without producing a single piece of viable legislation to positively affect the lives of working people in the middle class. We already know they haven't done anything for lesser-haves since TANF was signed by Reagan. 40ish years ago.

Well, they need SOMETHING to show their base that they are Fighting Evil.
The Senate sent over 12 appropriation bills in July. The House has not even brought one to a hearing. They are all in committee where the 'Freedom Caucus' try to add extra provisions to restrict abortion at the federal level, cut services to pregnant women and children, defund the IRS and micromanage the DOD and DOJ.
McCarthy's leadership can be challenged by one single person according to the rule revisions he agreed to. Long past time for someone on the other side of the aisle to stand up and have the balls to do it. Point out that the Republicans are once again planning on shutting the government down in October due to their bickering and inability to do what's right for the American people. Therefore they call for McCarthy to step down so a real leader can step up. Then suggest the most moderate (if there even is such a thing anymore) Republican to replace him.
I say AOC should step up to do this. Then a more moderate Democrat should stand up to agree with her and suggest a Democrat for the role instead. Either way, that bastard and his followers need to go.

I wonder what will happen if they take a vote and it fails. Nobody is going to throw themselves on the sword for McWorthless.

Mr. Child Rapist himself will take over of course!
But anything to take attention off their King and Savior is acceptable at this point. Cause none of them want the MAGA crowd to see the man behind the curtain.
And if all of these dumb-ass Democrats don't get up and start screaming that it's not inflation that's making you pay $5 for a box of cereal, but corporate greed, I may explode. And every time a corporation says they're laying people off because they don't have the money to pay them, they should be demanding a hearing to ask the CEO why they're losing money when they just reported record profits for the past quarter.
Let's start being more specific about corporate greed.
Biden can start with telling people at every goddamn speech he gives that it's not HIS policies that are raising profits, but corporate greed. And start using super-specific examples too.
Last year at this time, a box of Cheerios cost $4.00. Today it's $5.00. What changed? Nothing. How much did General Mills report in profits last quarter? Well folks, they had record profits of $XXXXX million. Now ask yourself why are they raising prices when they already make so much money?

I don't think you will ever hear 46 go there since he's a corporate capitalist of the highest order, just like more than 95% of elected state and federal officials and those they appoint to other positions. We have a publicly traded government at this point. One party likes to buy and the other likes to sell. Neither give a fine fiddlers fuck about the 98% of us hauling the load.
