Neighbor has been babysitting his son's dog. DIL had her baby way early, and right now, they can't take care of the dog AND be at the hospital. So he's watching Tucker for a while. The boy was a wild child from hells-a-poppin when he arrived, and it's amazing how much he's calmed down! Neighbor has been very strict with him, and now he's stopped barking at other dogs, will sit and lie down on command and will calmly stay (except when he sees me, cause he luuuuuuuuuuuuves me and wants kisses and scratches!). Anyway, Tucker, Bits and Dresi are now friends and don't bark at each other. Neighbor is helping Mr. Minx build the shed, and he brings Tucker over and ties him to one of our crepe myrtles or the trailer (depending on the weather). Tucker happily sits and observes. He will stand up if I take out either dog, but that's it. Since Mr. Minx is a pickleball fanatic, I got a pickleball costume from Target and put it on Bit. I then took him out to the shed and said "Someone wants to know when it's time to hit the court!" OMG, Tucker went beserk - barked and barked and barked! What was this strange creature? What?? Just cracked me up - once he sniffed Bit, he recognized the smell of his friend's humiliation Pictures

The bopsy twins were here again last weekend. We love having them and one of the really and truly best things is how well trained they are. When I let them out they don't need to be tied up and Sunday morning the 3 young deer were in the yard of the house behind us. Buck was locked on but I just firmly said "Buck, NO" and he didn't take another step. Rocco has gotten to where if it's not going to result in getting scratched behind his ear or a belly rub, he has no fucks to give.
And I always thought that dressing dogs up was animal abuse and the reason they bite their owners LOL!
