Slept in, ate a nice lunch and I'm going outside to take a walk in about 15 minutes.
It's sunny and 61 degrees. After I walk, I shall sit on the deck with a diet coke and a pooch or two. Hell, I may even take a nap out there too!
For today, life is good.

Raining like a mofo this morning and if anyone asks I'll deny saying it but I was stoked about the rain because we were supposed to go to Snead's for the "festival" even with the baby it's still like kill me now. I can't freaking walk very much to begin with and all. those. kids. and people that have never seen a bale of fucking hay before. Drives me nuts.
We went to the "festival" for the holidays at Busch Gardens a few years ago and it has almost scarred me for life. She was the one that suffered the most and it doesn't seem to be in that long memory of hers.

Costco made for a so much more relaxing experience. Ugh....
Nugget was super great with being in the cart, trying the samples, and waving to EVERYBODY.

Actually, it wasn’t exciting. It nearly did me in!

Awwwwwwwe - the image of Nugget waiving to everyone. I bet he charmed the pants off the entire store. I took my GS troop to Sneads - it was over 10 years ago, and never again. They had a great time at least And I wish that the damn garbage would take itself out for a change. Is that too much to ask? I think not! Dresi was out on the deck for over an hour yesterday and had the time of his canine life. I put a set of sheets out there - it's his happy place. He sits on his sheets and watches the world before snoozing off for a bit.

If the trash took itself out, I’d NEVER EVER leave the house!🤣🤣
I am venturing out this week. I have an appointment for vaccines and I need to drop my ballot off at the post office.

I am glad you're venturing out, even if only for a short time.

I thought I was going to have to venture farther than I wanted (my first appointment was in Fredericksburg), but I logged on this morning to change the time to AFTER rush hour rather than right smack dab in the middle of it, and all of a sudden there were appointments available in King George! Yay! Now I can get jabbed 3 times and get home quicker.
And my awful, painful weekend ended on a low note. As I was readying myself to head upstairs, I tripped in the kitchen, landing on my one decent knee and ramming my shoulder on the floor and my head into a cabinet. Never a dull moment around here.

I asked the pharmacist about it. She said they had completely run out of “everything” the previous week, but received a shipment Monday morning so were able to provide vaccines again. That sounds good to me - I am surprised the yahooshere in King George are so pro-vaccine.
And the RSV vaccine hurts just as bad as the tetanus! Pharmacist recommended that I receive that one alone in one arm and the flu and Covid in the other. I found out why overnight!
But, descending the stairs today was a bit easier than yesterday. My right knee didn’t scream as loudly and the swelling has diminished a bit - from rugby ball-sized to softball-sized.

Glad walking down the steps was a little easier, and thanks for the heads-up on the RSV vaccine!
