Getting into the swing of things after a partially rainy weekend.
Scored at the estate sale on Sunday though - brand new ceiling fan with light for $50. Box had never even been opened. As I told Mr. Minx, if it doesn't look good in the room I want to install it in, it won't be a loss, cause I can easily re-sell it for the $50 we paid.
Also caught up with mom, who is doing well, and sat with the pooches on the deck for a bit.
Hoping you guys are okay.

Nothing really notable to report other than spending yesterday with the nugget. He was on again off again mood-wise, but he's obviously cutting teeth and his momma was away on travel part of the week.
We've got multiple medical appointments between the two of us this week including a second attempt at her infusion since they couldn't get a line in her last week. 5 nurses, 10 tries, and a whole lot more of pissed off so she told them to stop. They said it was because she was dehydrated but I don't know how they could possibly know that, and then suggested if this continues she might need to get a central. After I heard that I went outside before being asked to leave.
Other than that it's just my appointment tomorrow with not-a-doctor for my 90 day required office visit to get refills on the ativan. Which ought to be another teeth clenching experience considering my baseline has doubled in the last 6 weeks or so, starting with a panic attack at the steakhouse on our anniversary and a couple of others since. Because you know, you only take the medicine when you have the attack, not when you can use it to prevent an impending one.

I always love the 'what are your triggers' question on anxiety and panic attacks. If I knew that I was going to have one, do you honestly think that I wouldn't try to prevent it???
One of kids my youngest was friends with has IBS. And she started having attacks, along with anxiety attacks when she went into MS, and bathroom access was restricted. This led to lots of absences. School started making her mom bring a signed doctor's note every time she was out. Their original doctor dropped them, because he was tired of wasting his time writing notes.
School asked mom what her daughter's triggers were. Mom's response - YOU are the trigger! She panics at the thought of needing to use the restroom at school because no one is given enough time! School says that they can set up a plan where she can leave to use the restroom as often as she needs to. Oh yeah - great idea for a 12 yo who is developing an anxiety disorder over her condition - let's do something that will make you stand out even more!
I get that you can't have folks jumping out of their seats every two minutes to go pee. But saying that you can only go between classes is a terrible policy too. Back in the day, each teacher had two bathroom passes. As long as there wasn't a test that day, you could quietly take one and leave. And yeah, the teacher did keep informal track of them. So if you were gone for half of the class, you'd better have a damn good excuse.

Life is my trigger.
