Before I hit the sack this early early morning, I read that Bezos has chosen a Murdoch crony to head the WAPO. Ugh. I am giving it some time to see how much he influences their slant before I cancel my subscription, but I don’t have a good feeling about it. I’ve already noticed a lot more “both sides” writing recently.
And then this morning, I awoke to the latest NYT poll, putting mango Mussolini ahead of Biden. I’m sick, just sick. I know, polls don’t mean much especially this early in the race but I am still horrified.

Yeah, the Post has gone to a lot of 'If only the Democrats would compromise' in their commentaries. And comments on articles are starting to slant right wing.
But we shall see.
And Mango is polling ahead of Dark Brandon, because Dark Brandon is doing NOTHING!
He needs to stop this 'quiet campaigning' and get out there and open his damn mouth!

Even though I don't give a damn about polls, it's a bite in the balls to the country's principles that a single person can dominate the news, social media and basically the whole narrative completely opposite of those principles. One of the Lincoln Project's ads says "he may not be on the ballot but his agenda will" and that's the book on America looking forward.

What are the chances they both drop out, or by some other means like Brandon drops out (or drops dead) and Orange Jewelius is convicted on one or more of the criminal charges, like all 91 in GA, and is forced out? The reason I ask this is because David Alxelrod (Obama's COS) went on record and said Biden should drop out. Why would he say that? I'll tell you why. Because Hillary Clinton. There was literally only one person in the entire world that could lose to Orange Jumpsuit, and based on everything we're seeing right now, that list might have grown by one Joe Biden.

Doesn’t matter if he’s convicted. There’s nothing in the constitution to keep him from presiding over the country imprisoned.
And Axelrod has been saying this for months.

Edited: He would be ineligible, per the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution for any office, if he's convicted of one or more of the charges he still faces, sedition being the shortest route to a conviction other than you know, conspiring against the United States.
Also, when the question above winds up in the supreme Court they will have absolutely no choice but to do the right thing. The Constitution might win when you most expect to. This is an easy one in my naive opinion. And if they don't, then it's game over anyway.

He isn’t charged with sedition.

Unfortunately, the Minnesota supremes were not convinced by this argument. Hopefully Colorado and some of the others will get this pushed through.

After more reading, I now see that the Minnesota Supreme Court decision only affects the primary ballot. I guess they’re hoping TFG loses the primary so they won’t have to make a decision on the November ballot. 🤣🤣

Trump will run regardless of primary results. I hope everyone realizes that. There is no 'sanity will be restored' on that front, and the sooner any Republicans who are laboring under the delusion that they can come out of hiding after a 'sane' person is nominated accept reality and grow some semblance of a spine the better.
Hahahaha - I just of course - they are the party of cowards. Mike Johnson and his lunatics are running the asylum, and the only ones who are trying to get anything done are the Dems, who are basically sitting with their arms crossed telling them that when they can stop screaming and listen then we can talk. And yes, I don't think they should negotiate. BUT, as I've noted before, they need to get their proposals and lined up ducks publicized and start screaming from the rooftops, and Biden should be leading their charge.
Farm subsidy bill will expire soon... We have a bill ready to go that will Help family farms stay in business, and help keep the cost of produce and meat from rising. It will also insure that those amongst us who are hungry will continue to get food, especially mothers and children. This is all the bill is about - there is no 'pork' or riders having nothing to do with food attached.
BUT, Mike Johnson refuses to bring the bill up in Congress to be voted on - he's more concerned with cutting the pay of his political enemies that making sure you can put food on your family's table. And his party is in agreement with him. Republicans are shutting our government down, and denying Americans affordable food.
I am so, so sick of the 'When they go low, we go high' crap. We don't have to wallow in the gutter, but going high doesn't mean we should sit by quietly, or say "Well, let's watch them implode!" It means that we meet them on their level and bluntly point out the cost of their stupidity, racism and bigotry in clear terms. And make it perfectly clear that if you throw your support or vote behind the Republican party, this IS what you are saying you WANT. Children to go hungry, small farms to be forced into bankruptcy, and even higher food costs.
Will it actually sway people? I don't know. But at least they can't say that no one told them.

I think that go low v go high was more based on personal attacks than policies. Truth is- it gets more clicks.
