Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment - No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability. And then this mook.... www.reuters.com/legal/colorado-judges-allows-trump-primary-ballot-delays-decision-general-election-2023-11-18/says yep, he did it..... but fuck the Constitution.

So you raised an insurrection...
As Pam would say, maybe they're making sure he can't appeal his supposed upcoming conviction. Or they're chicken shits.
You know which one I'm voting for.

The really scary thing is that once he’s THE nominee, he will be receiving security briefs again. More secrets to steal and share with Vlad and bury in the caskets of his “loved ones”.

Dean has been one of the biggest promoters of the 14th amendment. Here’s his take.

I think the rule for him should be 'Look but don't touch' And we can switch formats for both of them be the definition of 'brief'.
Economy looks good. Russia has not pulled out of Ukraine yet - working on more aid. Middle East - still a problem.
That's today's briefing sir.
Then they can have a 'security review' that only the president gets to see.

Kind of what I was thinking.
He had a history of skipping the security briefings as I recall, but if he is to be the nominee (which he is not as of yet) then it should all be verbal only. He's already exhibited being fast and loose with the paperwork.

Have to say that I always questioned the security briefing for the nominee. Like do they really have a true need to know before they win?
Do we do that for other races, like Congress and the Senate?
I say we do away with them completely - once you're declared the winner of the election, then you start getting them as part of the transition to office.

More from Dean. IMO, he should have been jailed after the classified documents thing.

Uhh, he should have been jailed on 1/7/2020. It's an obscenity that our laws and the justice system has completely failed us.

If they weren't going to jail him on 1/7/2020 (and I could make an argument that there wasn't enough hard evidence at that time), then his orange ass should have been in the slammer the moment classified document came to light. With no bond.

There was enough evidence that he was impeached for a second time within a few days of it happening. If the Senate repukelikkkans had any sense of duty to the country, he would have been convicted.

I don't believe MAGAts have a majority in their caucus. What I do believe is that the Lindsey Grahams et al are traitors to their party and to the country, and the proof is in those boxes in the guest bathroom.

Any Republican who has not vocally spoken out about this betrayal of our national security is 100% traitor IMO.
This should have been a total no-brainer and easy to explain to all their constituents. Instead they double-down and try to justify his actions. Scumbags.
