Based on what I've been reading especially with respect to her new book "Oath And honor" she is sending out a warning about the Republican Party and the perils of it's fealty to Orange Jesus. Setting the book-stuff aside for a moment, she's publicly spoken out on many occasions about it and about him directly.
Here's my question; If she is as concerned for the republic as she claims, would she be willing to quit that party and run as in Independent next year? I can see her pulling far more votes from the tyrant than any other person. She would have to know that it would hand a victory to Biden (provided that's the choice come time) and essentially euthanize the MAGA movement. So what say ye patriots?

I wonder that myself. But I also wonder if she may do more good staying in her party and preaching to the masses from there too.
OTOH anyone who thinks that OJ is out for peace across the nation and not for fascism and an outright dictatorship has their heads up their asses. So I don't know that it will make a difference.

I think it would but I'm also still one that thinks the average republican voter is not MAGA-esque. Even if it were the majority, it would not be able to sustain any influence in the party if Baldimort lost to Biden again. With her in the perfect position to deliver that blow, she should put her money where her mouth is and ensure the security of our republic.

Well waddya know about that?! Country first and someone with not only the means but also has given herself the obligation. Rule 303, Bob?
The author of the article seems a bit overly concerned about what-ifs. For one thing, Cheney is still a staunch conservative and her core political policies won't attract votes from the average democrat voters for Biden in any meaningful numbers. Some might even remember her father being a poster boy for neoconservatism and things like the lies perpetuated, some might even call it a conspiracy, to invade Iraq. Kind of hard to rally even the Bernie Bores behind that one I think. Also, the suggestion that she risks being unable to participate in debates is laughable on two fronts. First, she's got as many if not more political allies around the world than any other GOP prospect and Second, what makes the author even think Trump himself would attend debates?

The one thing that I did like was that she said that she will do whatever it takes to stop Trump.
Which says to me that she's not going to throw her hat in the ring if it means taking voters from Biden and thereby giving Trump an edge.
It would be great if she jumped in and gave Republicans an alternative. I'm not a fan of some of her policies, but I truly believe that she does lead with at least a partial eye towards what would be best for the country. And I really can't say that for any of the other Republicans who have tossed their hats in the ring so far.

Whatever it takes kinda speaks for itself and your assertion about "unless it takes votes from Biden" well, Hopefully that's not a cop-out she would use. Because in what world would Liz Cheney take votes from Biden? The only plausible, barely plausible answer to that is the republican nevertrumpers that only voted for Biden because..... well, he will lost those votes to Cheney. A vote for Cheney is 99.888% a vote for Biden anyway, so as Robot used to say "does not compute". As far as democrats voting for Cheney, I'm sure a few would because history has a way of Bernie Boring us once upon a time. Still, I don't see that as being anywhere near the problem it was in 2016 since those bros got to see and live the result of their yuge mistake that has left our democracy and rule of law with a gaping asshole.

Ha! You think the Bernie Bros learned something!
I am amused. And I hope Cheney does run BTW.
