My mom adored him. I was a fan. How shocking to see someone leave this earth so soon! (He was 61)
Howard Stern’s closest and longtime friend died last week. He was 58. Too too young.

Saw it in the headlines but even though I recognized his face from like the previews, really knew nothing else about him. As for Stern's friend, haven't paid any attention to that ahole for many many years and the pain of a loss for him sounds a lot like karma. There was just a story the other day about how he regretted treating people the way he did, specifically Anna Nicole Smith. He can eat shit and die with his regrets for all I care. Way too little way too late. Hate to be that harsh but there are some people that just are irredeemable because of the damage they've done to others for their own personal gain.

John, I wasn’t promoting Howard. I was saying that the death of his friend was such a shock because he was so young. I agree, Howard was abrasive before he went into therapy. He was quite hurtful at times. Although his friend was annoying at times, he didn’t deserve a shortened life because of that or because he was Howard’s friend.
AP says Andre died from lung cancer. Thank goodness his suffering was short. That is an awful way to die. I witnessed it via a dear family friend and his struggle was long.

Gotchya. I probably took that into foul territory just needing something/someone to rant about. Just thinking of all the people in the world suffering, grieving, dealing with the pain of tragedy and loss that don't get paparazzi sympathies..... yeah, I'll just stop there.

Ralph didn’t get much in the way of paparazzi coverage. Granted, many of Howard’s famous “friends” tweeted about his death, but not much coverage otherwise, at least from what I saw. I googled him the day after he died and there were a few blurbs about Howard’s friend dying in places like Variety, but that was pretty much it.
And Howard still gets creepy, despite nearly 30 years of therapy several times/week. This week, his last show of the year was dedicated to honoring musicians/song writers that died this year. He had several people in studio to perform their music. Maren Morris was the first. He’s always saying how hot she is. Well, that day he started telling her about seeing her Instagram posts and how he loved one where she was wearing a silver dress that had to be taped on to keep it from falling off. He was going on and on, and she finally said, “well, I’m sorry I didn’t wear that today. It would have been very Christmasy.” It was really creepy. I cringed.
