New game show on Fox. Wasn't intending to watch, but it's on before the 10:00 Snooze, and I happened to watch the last 20 minutes and now I want more. Here is the premise. They have a giant board marked off in squares. Each square has a player on it with a category. I'm not sure how the players or categories were placed since I missed the beginning. But they randomly choose a player from the board, and they come up to the board with their category. They can then choose from the people who are on the squares that directly touch theirs (top, bottom, left and right). They do see the category that those people have. The wiki article explains it better en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Floor_(game_show)But it was pretty entertaining. Will watch it again.

Can't do it. The games can be cool, but the contestants are all contrived "personalities" now. Used to only be like that on The Price Is Right..... all the jumping up and down crap on steroids. The only one that remains even close to dignified all the hoopla is Jeopardy! TPIR still has all that exuberance and it's still like watching a NASCAR race without the wrecks BORING.
Love,

BTW, we watched 2 movies over the weekend. One was called "Foe" and the other was "The Creator". Both movies were about AI. Foe sucked so bad even for free I felt ripped off and The Creator was actually worth every penny of the $6 rental.

I’m back to watching Grey’s Anatomy. I’m almost through season 3 (I sprung for the boxed set when Chris O’Donnell appeared in season 2. Unfortunately, he didn’t last but a couple episodes into season 3.).

Didn't seem contrived on The Floor - maybe because there are too many of them?
They really don't do much in terms of introduction other than "Well John, your topic is 'Bugs' - is that something you feel confident about?"

I'll tell her about it next time she's studying the guide.
Last night we watched the newest Mission Impossible. Guess what the theme was? You guessed it- AI. It was meh, and my least favorite out of all of the previous ones. Sorta felt like it was Fast n Furious 28, with all the suspension of disbelief stunts. It was Part One... so I guess we're in for Furious 29.

I used to watch that just for Izzy. Woof. Izzy is gorgeous, but the character she plays reminds me so much of Phoebe on Friends.

In looks or character? Lisa Kudrow was the least hottest "friend" to me I guess because of the character she played but they also dressed her weirdly. Can't even remember Izzy's real name but she supposedly went on to be in a lot of other things whereas Kudrow was only in that one movie and I don't even remember the name of it, some kind of thing where her and Remy? Romy? Roma? went to their hs reunion and someone came to it in a helicopter.

Katherine Heigl. No, not looks. It’s the way her character is written. She’s a bit flaky, very empathetic and emotional, blurts out weird stuff, etc.
