I was so bored yesterday that I sat and watched both games and to my surprise, they were both actually great games to watch sans the fucking camera going on taytay every time her bf caught a ball. No dog in either fight but I would have liked to see a Detroit v Buffalo Superbowl, pulling more for Buffalo than anyone. Twas not to be since the Bills offense went ice cold (pun intended) in the 4th quarter. They had something like 7 defensive starters out of the game and lost at least one more during it so it was a wonder that the game was even close as it was. Missed fg with about a minute and a half left on the clock and STILL managed to get the ball back for one more drive in which Josh Allen threw a terrible INT to end their season.
Go Lions?

I’m rooting for Detroit, even though I won’t see any of the games.

Just from the few games I've watched all year, Baltimore is the team to beat.

Can’t do it. I can never root for Baltimore!
I was thrilled to see Philly self-implode.

Make no mistake, the only time I could root for Baltimore is when they play Dallas and I'd just rather not watch than do that so...

I still remember, as a child, the closest thing I had to a godfather was a huge Baltimore Colts fan. He would regularly call my mom (equally huge Redskins fan) and say things like, “well, the band sounded good…”. Obnoxious.
Didnt stop me from dating a guy who was the spitting image of Bert Jones for a short time. One of my many gay boyfriends at the time. 🤣🤣

I have to say Go Lions, even though I've only been watching the Chiefs so I can trash talk my co-worker about TayTay.
But I actually do feel sad for her - how hard must it be to not even go to your boyfriend's football game without being the center of attention like this? Simone Biles' husband plays for the Packers and doesn't get a quarter of this attention - she can enjoy the game and cheer on her husband in peace.

I don't like the comparison between her and Biles. It's got race baiting overtones which are completely meritless and unnecessary. Swift has 280 million followers on IG alone. She sells out concerts around the world to the point that the newest tour was made into a movie that grossed over 100 million dollars the first weekend. newsroom.spotify.com/2023-11-29/top-songs-artists-podcasts-albums-trends-2023/#:~:text=The%20top%20global%20artists%20of,global%20streams%20since%20January%201. No comparison to her and a gymnast- full stop. It's the network and nfl execs that want her on camera because of her massive popularity. That popularity is the same reason she has so many haters too. If I want attention, the cheapest and easiest way for me to get it is to use someone famous as my subject, and I can use either positive or negative messaging with just about equal results.

Yay! Way to go, Chiefs! (No, I’m not watching, but I do have nfl.com up on my iPad to keep track of the scores.
Now: Go, Lions!

They dominated the first half and left the chat after halftime.

Man the Lions/49ers game was a nail-biter for sure! That would have been a great SB matchup. Almost went down to the wire, and if the Lions hadn't been so aggressive (I think they should have gone for the FG), they might have won.
One co-worker is a huge Chiefs fan, another is a huge 49ers fan. Let the trash fly!!
Oh and in terms of Biles v Swift - I was just saying that no one felt the need to make a big deal of her attending the games (well except Packers fans who are beyond excited to see her at every game). I think it's because she's married and her dating life wasn't done in the public spotlight. But I suspect that Swift wants what Biles has - the ability to watch a game in relative peace.
