Dreams have gotten so vivid it takes me a couple hours after waking to work through the experience. One last night really shook me. I sure can't wait to get back to LBG to see that psych. Leaving here in a few minutes for my appt with sleep doctor at MW. I hope he or she set aside a nice block of time.

I forget what that's a sign of, but it was definitely something I was asked about when I did my sleep study.

My issue is when I’m dropping off to sleep. I hear a noise like someone is in the room with me (I use sleep masks), and it gets my adrenaline rushing. The other night I was drifting off and thought I heard paper rustling right beside me. That definitely got my heart slamming.
I keep telling myself that some of the noises are me, but a lot of them are in my head. But it doesn’t keep my hear from racing when it happens.

I have some weird dreams sometimes - one is that I'm in a house that's not mine but somehow is. So it looks nothing like any house I've lived in, but I know it's mine. And I always get turned around in it and end up in the same bedroom or bathroom. Like I said, weird.

Forgot to take my machine but through the wonders of technology, I was able to pull up the info on my phone since I have the app for the CPAP. There's also a SD card in it that has tons more data but he said what I had on the app was still very useful. According to him, my numbers are great and he also was impressed that I use it every night. As far as the dreaming goes... he asked if I ever "act out" my dreams. I had to ask exactly what that meant and after he explained it I said "so does throwing punches and stangling my wife count"? Yeee-ep.
He said he could prescribe Klonopin if the dreams were a problem for me, but I would have to stop taking Ativan. Yeah I know. My first experiences with the PTSD and Anxiety attacks was treated by my PC doc and he put me on both. Actually it was Xanax not Ativan. It was a really rough time and I had no idea about these drugs so I was all in. Slept anywhere from 12-16 hours a day until things started turning around enough for me to get back to work, which was over a month's time post treatment.
I messed up thinking I was going to see my psych in Lynchburg the week after next. It's my new patient visit with my new PC, who I have to see to get my referral to BH, in which I was told I could choose my old provider. In a perfect world I could do both the same day but that's pie in the sky and might as well plan going back down there a second time before too long.

I'd call BH and ask if they have an opening that day just in case. Is it a paper referral, or do they do it electronically?
Either way, the new PC should be able to do it while you're still in their office.
