Gone at a very young age of 62. Stomach cancer.
I have a friend that went into the ER at Spotsy Regional one night with what he said was the worst pain in his life, in his abdomen. Was almost immediately diagnosed with stomach cancer and within a couple of days they did a surgery where they basically opened him up and did the chemo directly on the organs. That was like at least 10 years ago now and to the best of my knowledge has been good to go ever since. Maybe they caught his earlier, I have no idea.

I think the direct chemo is a little hit-or-miss. Had a friend who did it and is still running around. Another one got a few extra years from it.
Sad for Keith's family. Not a fun way to go. Just hope it was fast and not prolonged.
