TayTay has made it to LV - the Super Bowl can commence!
I'm sure that much like myself, you were on pins and needles with worry about her schedule and flight? If she was late, would Travis even suit up? Could the Chiefs even score, let alone win if she wasn't in her seat?
Personally, I couldn't sleep at all until I knew that jet was safely in the air.
And why didn't the pooches that Fallon releases each year to predict the SB winner inform us about her plane and the odds of making it to the game - this is what's IMPORTANT Jimmy!
And for the record, I am Team Ruff all the way this year, but will probably end up cheering if Team Fluff scores.

I wonder if they'll sit down with her on camera and do an expose' on her troubled childhood, a mother that worked 3 jobs, her brother being shot, and the lure of being in a gang to survive in the inner-city, to make it all the way to the superbowl because of Jesus. All while various pieces of music fill in the pauses, immersing us into her story of triumph.

My friend adopted a puppy that was due to appear on the puppy bowl, but she came down with giardia shortly before filming. One of her litter mates did make it, though.

I briefly thought about trying to watch the game since I discovered that Paramount+ is free to Walmart+ subscribers. But then I realized I would use up all my data for the month, and Apple has a new update out that will do that already.

HOLY SHIT!
THAT was a game!
Was going to call it quits after the half time show - was in a clubhouse at Jubilation with about a dozen people and thought my head was going to explode from the noise - TV was at almost full volume and still couldn't hear a word over these blowhards.
Then KC realized that there was a football game on and shock of shocks, they were actually one of the teams who were supposed to be playing in it!
A hard loss for SF - they truly played their asses off, and their QB (Purdy) should be the MVP simply for getting there and making the game more competitive.
From what I could see, most of the ads blew chunks. Although, I did really like the Jesus ad where they had people from all walks of life washing feet of people who were different from them. The tagline? Jesus didn't come and spread hate. He came and washed feet. Probably went over the heads of most of the rednecks at the party I was at.

The whole event, commercials and all, pretty much sucked until the fourth quarter. I think the halftime show was right up there with last year (Rihanna) in sucking. Taylor WAS in the building right? Just saying.
As for the Hey! Zues! commercials, you know, I appreciate the sentiment no matter where it comes from. If I was the one making that spot, I'd have shown the people raging at the border and then let a little Matthew loose, "I was a stranger and you welcomed me.... I tell you the truth, what you do for the least of them you do for me"
Put that in your Mich Ultra and smoke it.

From what I read, all of the advertisers tailored their ads to be acceptable to the MAGA crowd.
And on the Jesus ad, you can see it in the image of the white man and black man sitting on the porch with their feet in a tub of water. Ain't no way they were going to show a nice middle-aged white dude washing a black man's foot, let alone clearly indicate that one of those images was of a migrant at the border.
And the fourth quarter was basically the entire game.

I had to follow on espn.com, as the nfl site wasn’t providing score/game updates.
