www.weismarkets.com/shop/product/motor-city-pizza-co-pizza-deep-dish-detroit-style-three-meat/2422391Hands down, no contest, the best frozen pizzas ever. Daughter introduced us to them. She buys them at Costco where they come in a 3 pack for like $15 bucks. Weis has had them on sale for $5.99 (7.99 reg) a couple of times recently so I've been putting two in the cart. One thing I would consider a bargain considering what you are getting. One pizza is almost 2 pounds and more than enough for the two of us.

Beats Stouffer's French bread pizza and anything digiorno ever could dream up. Costco used to have one called Mystic Pizza that was really good but still couldn't hold a candle to these.

DiGirorno never did it for me. Tasted like crap. OTOH, french bread pizza was the manna of life when my kids were small!

Not sure if I've ever mentioned it but my father worked at Safeway and was the frozen food "manager".... anyway, we always had a full size stand-up freezer at home and it was always completely stocked full of scratch and dent specials lol. Elio's Pizzas probably took up a shelf by themselves. They are some cardboard nasty shit but damn if we couldn't wait to get home from school and throw them in the oven.

Ellio's were my go-to 'gourmet' food in college. That and hot dogs.
Otherwise, it was PB&J and generic boxed mac & cheese - they were .25/box so a dollar went a long way. NY had a bottle bill at the time, so I'd hoard bottles until I had enough to go grocery shopping.

We'd actually get a couple of boxes when they were on sale for our kids. Just like when we were kids, they thought it was a treat! LOL
